Read through these descriptions of some popular apps:

WhatsApp – A messaging app that allows you to send text messages, pictures, audio clips and video clips – you can also make calls and video call using this app and it is all free!!! We use it to help deliver online learning to students who are at home.

Dublin Bus – An app that allows you to time busses in real time. Each bus has a GPS tracker, and you can find out where your bus is! You can also enter the bus stop number you are all and will be told when the next bus will come. Very useful for people who use the bus!

Sleep sounds – An app that plays relaxing sounds to help you drift off to sleep. You can choose the type of sounds you like to listen to, wind, sea, fire burning – there are lots of options to choose from.

Spotify

Spotify – A music streaming app. You can listen to a large selection of music from current hits to music from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s! The free version of this app is great but will make you listen to advertisements every 30 minutes.

RTE PlayerRTE Player – An app that allows you to catch up on RTE 1 & RTE 2 TV shows. You can use it to watch soaps, news, or any programs you enjoy! Three weeks of TV is available at any time on the RTE player, well-loved shows are also made available for longer.
