AONTAS Star Awards 2021 at Coolock Darndale ALS
Congratulations to all of the students, tutors and volunteers at Coolock Darndale ALS on their recent AONTAS Star Awards 2021 accolade. Their website, www.CoolockALS.ie was nominated for one of these prestigious awards in the category of Learner Voice and was shortlisted with just two others from the whole island of Ireland.
CoolockALS.ie has become an invaluable resource for learners and tutors. The website showcases student stories, with audio and interactive exercises included, allowing learners from everywhere to practice their skills in their own time. Through their writings and exercises for the website, the students have become not only published authors, but teachers to their fellow learners.
